I loved it!

The teams which would give the south (MD, Bosco or Centennial; don’t sleep on the Huskies) just based on the way their offenses are structured as De La Salle and MAYBE St. Francis. Why do I say this? Well, talent aside both utilize offenses that go right at you and rarely lose yards.

When you stop De La Salle, it’s usually for a 1 yard gain and a loss of about 30 seconds. Same can kind of be said for St. Francis.

Serra, Folsom, SRV, Pitt and SI (doesn’t even sound right mentioning them in this conversation to be honest) do not have the patience to consistently try to go right at you and wear you down. They all eventually try to get cute and those 1 yard gains by DLS and SF turn into sacks, interceptions, or 5+ yard losses.

I will at least have the History , and other things relating to the GIBT. It is a milestone to have reached 70 Years.

Folsom has 10 non-league games.

Milo Lazare and Patrick Byrnes are the backups on varsity. Lazare is a soph, I don't know about Byrnes. The JV quarterback is like 6-4 and throws pretty well. The frosh QB is a good athlete.

I truly don’t care about transfers, kids should be able to play where they feel it’s best for them….

My dislike for Folsom stems from The Folsom rule ruining the open play in and the Fact that before their current coach they avoided playing any top teams including DLS like the plague…. And when they did play DLS they got Boatraced….

Taylor and Richardson were Classless coaches that ran up the score on teams just to pad stats and embarrass high school kids that were way overmatched….

The fact a HS QB threw for 91 TD’s against inferior competition is disgusting…. Especially since his team didn’t need at least 50+ of those to actually win the games….. 🤣

Folsom is a scared program and it’s ok to say that until they actually play teams that are on their level and when we see them play teams on their level they lose.

I remember going to a game there in the later 70s watching Hartnell and MPC. It is a great atmosphere having attended many Palma v Salinas games over the years including recently. Definitely a venue to see as you are so close to the field. Soquel is favored by 4. Looks to be a very good game.

Yes, DLS, 100% wants to be nowhere else but The Open and right or wrong they actually believe that can play the “Perfect Game” and win….

Also, I believe PITT wants to be in The Open because that would mean they Beat DLS in the playoffs…..
