Jurrion Dickey

One of the highest-rated prep wide receivers in the U.S. in 2022, he suffered a knee injury early in his senior season at Menlo-Atherton. He was done for the year. Dickey, who had a NIL deal in high school, was reportedly signed by Oregon. He is not listed on the Ducks' 2023 roster as of today. Any updates on his status?

2024 Football Top 50: 1-10

10. Wyatt Hook 6-foot-6, 230 pounds TE Homestead (OREGON STATE)

Hook is the longest commitment in the class since he pledged to Oregon State in December of 2022. He is an athletic tight end who was used in a variety of spots this past season. One of the best compliments for Hook is he has a wide receiver skill set. As a junior, he had 627 yards and five touchdowns.

9. Brooklyn Cheek 6-foot-2,190 pounds DB Central Catholic (CALIFORNIA)

Cheek will bring position versatility to the Bears in the 2024 class and is a turnover producing player with eight interceptions over the past two seasons. He is very skilled at playing a centerfield safety role and reacting both directions, but he can also play up on receivers and track their routes.

8. Logan Saldate 5-foot-10, 171 pounds WR Palma (NOTRE DAME)

Saldate provided some recruiting news earlier this month when he flipped from Oregon State to Notre Dame in continuing the flow of regional talent to South Bend. He has had success inside and outside for the Chieftains. He does a good job of creating separation with quickness, but also can make plays with his strength.

7. Ananias Walker 6-foot-1, 170 pounds WR Windsor

Walker had 26 catches for 474 yards and five touchdowns as the secondary option for Rancho Cotate behind Cal bound Sailasa Vadrawale. Now at Windsor, Walker will look to help bolster a passing attack that could be among the best in the section. Nearly half of the Pac-12 has offered Walker including Arizona, Cal, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington.

6. Lamar Radcliffe 6-foot-2, 220 pounds RB Sacramento (UTAH)

Radcliffe burst onto the scene with a 2,000 yard sophomore season with 23 touchdowns. However, his junior year was cut short with a season ending injury after two carries. Now, the big, explosive back is back healthy and recently committed to Utah ahead of what should be a big senior year.

5. Maealiaki Smith 6-foot-4, 200 pounds QB Serra

Smith has no issue stepping in as the starting quarterback for the Padres in completing 67 percent of his passes for 2,546 yards and 34 touchdowns for the NorCal Open Division representatives. He has visited a wide array of schools including Michigan State, BYU and Utah.

4. Kingston Lopa 6-foot-4, 195 pounds S Grant (OREGON)

Lopa was one of the region’s top two-way players as a junior and starts 2023 as a player of the year candidate. He was an early commit to Arizona, but has since flipped to Oreogn. Lopa is a long athlete who gets to top speed without much effort and makes big plays on both sides of the ball.

3. Naki Tuakoi 6-foot-3, 230 pounds LB Fremont-Oakland (STANFORD)

Tuakoi is a major get for Stanford, which beat out schools like USC, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arizona and Oregon. He provides a big presence in the middle of the field and has the speed to chase down plays on the sideline. He fits the mold of top linebackers out of this area in the past decade.

2. Manasse Itete 6-foot-6, 270 pounds OL Central Catholic

A former top basketball prospect in the class, Itete has the physical skill set of the prototype offensive tackle. He has quick feet, strong hands and plays with a motor. He decommitted from USC today with a new school expected to be announced on Saturday.

1. Jericho Johnson 6-foot-4, 320 pounds DT Armijo

Jericho Johnson is a game wrecking defensive tackle who spent his junior season overpowering blockers off the snap and then showing speed to chase down the ball. He has been offered by more than half of the Pac-12 and national powers like Georgia, Alabama and Michigan.

Former Serra Basketball Player

I watched a show about Decensae White who went from a hooper to a weed dealer to a murderer.

2024 Football Top 50: 11-20

20. Jaythn Long 5-foot-11, 160 pounds WR Lincoln-Stockton (SACRAMENTO STATE)

The Sacramento State commit attacks the defense with short catch and run plays as well as staying vertical and getting past the defense. As a junior, he had 536 receiving yards at more than 17 yards per reception.

19. Tyrone Jackson 6-foot-3, 180 pounds WR Riordan

Jackson is the top rated senior for what is a talented Crusaders’ roster. He has four Pac-12 offers from Oregon, Oregon State, Utah and Washington State. He has good size, is a fluid route runner and has the explosion to create separation.

18. Kayo Patu 6-foot-1, 165 pounds ATH Capital Christian (ARIZONA)

Patu’s athleticism is on full display at wide receiver and defensive back, but his future looks to be on the defensive side of the ball. As a junior, he had eight pass breakups and three interceptions. He committed to Arizona in June and will team with his brother, Orin, in Tucson.

17. Devin Green 5-foot-11, 200 pounds ATH Grant (UNLV)

Green is the latest two-way standout, but looks to be a college running back over strong safety. Playing at Sheldon last season, Green had more than 1,000 total yards with 16 touchdowns on 123 touches. He is a patient runner with vision, but also gets to top speed quickly after his initial cut.

16. Phoenix Rose 6-foot-0, 170 pounds DB Whitney

Rose is comfortable playing on the outside whether it is tracking a receiver, following the action off the ball or covering ground for a late pass breakup. He finished his junior campaign with 11 pass breakups. Arizona, Cal, Washington State and San Diego State are his top four schools.

15. Sosefo Akuila 6-foot-3, 230 pounds LB Tennyson

Akuila has good size and runs well to cause havoc around the line of scrimmage. He can also drop into pass coverage too. He was previously at Fremont-Oakland. He has Pac-12 offers from Cal, Arizona and Washington State.

14. Jalen Harris 6-foot-0, 170 pounds RB Berkeley

Harris had 11 total touchdowns last year as a runner, pass catcher and kick returner. He is a shifty back but also has very good speed to be a home run threat. He has been offered by Cal, Columbia and San Jose State.

13. Justin Hylkema 6-foot-8, 315 pounds OL Wilcox (ARIZONA)

The Wilcox star lineman committed to Arizona in June over other Pac-12 offers from Cal and Washington State. Hylkema has excellent size but also doesn’t play too high. He is a very physical tackle who stays with his blocks throughout the play.

12. Trevor Rogers 6-foot-3, 200 pounds WR Acalanes (CALIFORNIA)

Rogers is our biggest riser in this edition of the rankings and is proving to be a good pickup for the hometown Bears. He is coming off a productive junior season when he finished with 58 catches for 1,120 yards and 15 touchdowns. He routinely challenged defenses with his size and speed.

11. Ikinasio Tupou 6-foot-6, 290 pounds OL Palo Alto

Tupou has visited Arizona, Utah and BYU heading into his senior year. He has good size and strength and plays with a mean streak. He also showed off more of his athleticism playing defensive end and containing action.

30. Auckland Asiata 6-foot-3, 240 pounds DE Sutter (FRESNO STATE)

The Fresno State commit plays with a high motor, has active hands to shed blockers and good strength to get into the backfield. Asiata had 84 tackles and 9.5 sacks and is the lone Northern Section player in the Top 50.

29. Kalolo Kaihea 6-foot-7, 246 pounds OL Riordan

He is starting high school football this coming season, but his size and athleticism combo has drawn offers from San Jose State, UNLV, Utah State and Utah. Kaihea has the potential to be a breakout prospect this fall as he gets more film.

28. Berlin Lillard 6-foot-5, 325 pounds OL Bishop O’Dowd (COLORADO STATE)

Lillard is a powerful offensive guard who moves pretty well for his size and routinely blocks defenders into the ground. He also creates havoc as a defensive tackle for the Dragons. Lillard committed to Colorado State this summer.

27. Herschel Turner Jr. 5-foot-10, 185 pounds RB Mt. Diablo

As a junior at Freedom, Turner rushed for 911 yards and 14 touchdowns with 280 receiving yards and a pair of scores. He is a tough runner with some breakaway speed to make him a big play threat as a runner, receiver and returner. Utah and Washington State are among his offers.

26. Drew Cunningham 6-foot-4, 225 pounds LB De La Salle

Cunningham is a long linebacker who is a good edge rusher, can make plays at the second level and play in coverage. He was one of the Spartans’ best defenders a year ago and finished with 56 tackles. He is a high academic prospect with offers from Yale, Penn, Columbia and Army.

25. Frank Cusano 6-foot-3,220 pounds LB Granite Bay (WASHINGTON STATE)

Cusano was a versatile standout for the Grizzlies with 111 tackles while also being third in the team in receiving yards. He is a big hitter in the middle of the field, reads action quickly and cna chase down plays going toward the sideline.

24. Danny Niu 6-foot-0, 205 pounds LB Serra (SAN DIEGO STATE)

Niu plays linebacker much like he plays running back. See the gap. Fire through the gap. End with physicality and aggression. He had more than nine yards per carry on 40 attempts to go with 51 tackles. He continues the pipeline from Serra to San Diego State.

23. Kamani Jackson 6-foot-0, 180 pounds DB El Cerrito

Jackson has announced his final three of San Diego State, San Jose State and Washington State with a decision planned for September. On the field, he can play close to the line and then turn and run with most receivers. He can also create turnovers and get big runbacks off of them.

22. Joseph Bey 6-foot-1, 185 pounds DB Serra (SAN JOSE STATE)

Bey is a good tackler who isn’t afraid to mix it up in the box. He has good length to cover ground on the backend and is part of a strong defense for the Padres. Bey is staying local with a commitment to San Jose State.

21. Jabari Mann 6-foot-0, 200 pounds LB Serra (SAN JOSE STATE)

It is no wonder the WCAL Junior of the Year is one of the top returning seniors in Northern California. Mann has good size, a quick first step and works through traffic to reach the ball and finish plays off. Mann was an early commit for San Jose State.

2024 Football Top 50: 31-40

40. Dominic Ingrassia 6-foot-3, 200 pounds QB San Marin

Ingrassia spearheaded the Mustangs to a 4-A state title with 2,500 passing yards and 35 touchdowns. He has the necessary arm strength, can make accurate throws on the move and looks to make the big play. His recruitment has been slower compared to his talent but he has an offer from Utah Tech.

39. Cole Owens 6-foot-0, 185 pounds WR Casa Roble

There are two issues when trying to corral Owens. One, stopping him from getting open and two, tackling him in space. Those proved to be difficult as he had 1,320 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior. Portland State, Sacramento State, UC Davis and Army have offered Owens.
