EBAL "joke" I mean vote is in

After a 5/5 tie vote to see how to organize the new EBAL "super league" it was ultimately decided to go to a 10 team league rather than competitive equity and an A/B split. That means 1 non-league game so say bye-bye to any EBAL vs who ever games. Teams will probably still be able to opt out of DLS game which is gutless because these coaches and admin think Livermore can compete with EBAL team but EBAL can't compete with DLS. Dublin and DV got royally screwed here too as they enter from the DFAL when they came in under the assumption there would be competitive equity. Remember Livermore is 3-67 in EBAL the last 10 years, 0-60 against any team not named Granada. In that time their 5-1 against Dublin and DV. They only thing created here is a competive inequity for the bottom half of the league. "Super League?" What a joke, I remember when EBAL was respectable....

Modesto Christian baseball sanctioned

The SJS has been sanctioned for undue influence in its pursuit of a then eighth grade baseball player, who was a freshman for the 2015 season.

Sanctions handed down to the program were forfeiting all wins from the 2015 season and being ruled ineligible for the 2016 playoffs. Also, the Crusaders will lose two games this year and in the 2017 season.

The name of the player in question wasn't specified by the section.

SoCal Coach On the State of Play

: Top 10 Teams in SoCal:
: 1.Mater Dei-Lots of size and length. Guard play might be a issue early but will be ok come playoff time. Rosenblum and Adams will carry the load this year, but will need lots of help from younger players.

: 2.Chaminade- Higgins & Odom(If she's still there) will be tough. Those two players are game changers. If Alemany transfer doesn't sit out the 30 days they will develop chemistry early and will be tough to beat in playoffs.

: 3. Long Beach Poly: Ayanna Clark coming back is huge for the jack rabbits. They lost Eliza Matthews to season ending Knee injury (acl). Denae miller will have to produce, just know that they will be very well coached.

: 4. Palisades- Will win the city easily. Chelsea Gibson is a player and they are well coached. They have some good returners coming back and a good group of young players. They are playing one of the toughest schedules in the nation.

: 5. Brea- Richardson will average 18-22ppg. TT Watkins is a great athlete and got better this summer and expanded her game. Transfer will help, and will push Freshmen Startimf PG from last year to the bench.

: 6. Windward- Jayde woods had a good eybl season, tough defender! Good young talented guards will help right away. Big from Team Taurasi will be a force in the middle.

: 7. Ventura- very well coached and execute. Return everyone except for two seniors. Larson will have them ready to go.

: 8. Oaks Christian- Katie Campbell can score and will keep Oaks in many games. Might not have enough fire power. Not a great defensive team.

: 9. Alemany- camacho does a great jobs getting the most out of his players. Will be tough defensively and execute on offense. Lack of shooters will hurt.

: 10. Vista Murrieta- they won't stay here long, especially with a new coach and Jaelyn Brown being out with a knee injury (Torn Acl). Brittany Reed is good enough to carry the load for awhile but eventually will not be enough.
