PNOLE VALLEY 35 HERCULES 18

I thought there would be fire works tonight at this game and it was almost close as both teams came close to scoring two more TD's each but defense on both parts came up with the strops. Now Pinole Valley racked up nine penalties in the first five minutes of the game for 75 yards but over came them with runs of, 20,16,16,11,7 and 6 for a TD with the clock reading 7:34 and the strong running of Michael Powell...Now Powell had close to 200 yards in running and saw McConico with many QB keepers...these two guys are fast sneaky and slippery, MCConico got him self out of trouble many times, but also took some hits on no gains.
For Hercules, I had a big surprise coming my way as the Titan QB Wright fired off two passes of 45 yards in the air and later another for 47 yards plus a 56 yard pass play that was called back, the guy has an arm like a cannon..The tit.Now the Spartan defense played the Titans tough in the second quarter and blocked a field Goal attempt and kept the Titans from scoring while Pinole valley was pulling ahead 21-6 on runs of six three and three by Michael Powell..

Pinole Valley on the other hand has 22 first downs, ran 45 plays for 352 yards, passed 13 times and hit six for 108 yards, was penaltized 13 times for 130 yards, punted two times, fumbled three times and was intercepted once.

Vacaville 7 vs Granite Bay 42 FINAL

All I want is Vacaville to play hard and give 100% of effort like they did in the fourth quarter of the game at Enterprise. I always love that Vacaville is, most of the time, the underdog against these powerhouse teams. One of the posters on here @G61 promises that Vacaville will get blown out in this one. Im sure if they don't limit the turnovers and they don't improve their defense they won't have a chance to compete. Its good that Vacaville has this tough non-league schedule because it let's them know at what level are they at in each season.

DEFENSE..DEFENSE..DEFENSE!!!

GO VACAVILLE BULLDOGS!!!
