PLEASE post your best guess at posters TRUE identity HERE!!

Otherwise you are just cluttering up posts with your childish off topic banter.

Short of posting under your real name (Tony Wood) or an abbreviated version (awood1 = oldest of 3 brothers with AEW initials) it should be understood that you don't wish to reveal your identity to the public for whatever reason, none of which I give two $hits about when I come to read about HS football.

Some of you actually have fun, intelligent, amusing things to say about HS football but my "ignore" list is getting longer by the minute as I add the whack jobs that can't read the heading of a forum / board or post!! So here you go, a post JUST for you:

PLEASE post your best guess at posters TRUE identity HERE!!
(aka. a place for idiots to act like HS girls)

Have at it ladies and jr. detectives!!

De La Salle 57 - James Logan 14

Special to The Chronicle

Anthony Sweeney accounted for 230 yards and five touchdowns, all in the first half when the host Spartans (8-1) took a 51-14 lead over the Colts (6-3).

Logan’s touchdowns came on kickoff returns — 99 yards from Ahmari Davis and 94 yards by Jamaria Young.

Sweeney ran for three scores and fired TD passes to Chris Vanderklugt of 27 and 17 yards, the latter on the final play of the first half when De La Salle held a 398 to negative-7-yard advantage.

Antoine Custer rushed for eight times for 93 yards and a score, and he returned a kickoff 76 yards for a TD.

Campo beats Miramonte

Special to The Chronicle

Knocking off a reigning champ is never easy. Knocking off a program that hasn’t lost a league game in five years, well, the Miramonte-Orinda football team can attest to how easy that is. Or isn’t.

Campolindo-Moraga extended its Diablo Foothill Athletic League winning streak to 29 games with a 37-0 win over the visiting Matadors on Friday.

The Cougars (8-1, 5-0 DFAL) scored on the opening kickoff as Kannah Cruickshank returned the football 99 yards, and the Chronicle’s No. 11-ranked team never looked back. Campolindo led 23-0 at halftime and forced the game into a running clock with 10:40 left in the fourth quarter.

No. 15 Miramonte (8-1, 4-1) entered the game undefeated, averaging 45 points and 466 yards of offense. On Friday, the Matadors mustered 201 yards of offense with 125 coming from running back Clayton Stehr on 24 carries.

Miramonte quarterback Tim Tague, who entered the game averaging 318 yards passing, completed just 11 of 27 passes for 76 yards and had four interceptions.

“I think they underestimated us, to be honest,” Campolindo two-way lineman Sterling Strother said. “No disrespect to their program — they have some great coaches and players — but I don’t think they were ready for the physicality we showed. And I don’t think they were ready for a secondary that had something to prove.”

Three Cougars had interceptions. Devin Regan had two, and Jack Cassidy and Lev Garcia had the others. Cassidy also contributed two touchdowns on the ground. Niki Moore led Campolindo in rushing with 99 yards on 18 carries.

“I couldn’t be prouder with how our kids responded on both sides of the ball tonight,” Campolindo coach Kevin Macy said.

NCS D1 playoffs

1. DLS
2. Antioch
3. Foothill
4. Monte Vista
5. Pitt
6. Freedom
7. Amador
8. CAL
9. Logan - should they play their second stringers to get out of DLS's bracket?
10. Dublin
11. Liberty
12.San Leandro
13. Dougherty Valley
14. Irvington

I think 1-9 is what we will see as well as 14. 10-13 is up for grabs. I like Dublin's chances against Amador or even Freedom is they drop down to 11. Last meeting between Dublin and Amador, Amador won 21-14 in a close one. I know I am a fan of Dublin but I think they have a realistic chance of being a bracket buster this year.

Folsom @ Oak Ridge

Big game up in El Dorado Hills this Friday. SFL title at stake as well as probably the #1 seed in D-1 playoffs. Any thoughts on this one? Personally I give the slight edge to Folsom due to their track record, but a very different Folsom team from the Folsom teams the past 2-3 years. As for Oak Ridge they have a great QB in Ian Book and have put up some solid numbers on offense. Their defense seems to be up and down. Nevertheless I will be there with my three sons to watch a great norcal football game! Any thoughts?

Best QB/WR combo in the NBL/SCL?

Every QB has his go-to guy. Gunner Mefferd out of Rancho Cotate has Chris Taylor-Yamanoha. Cardinal Newman's Jordon Brookshire has Damian Wallace. Analy's Jack Newman has Schuyler Van Weele. In my opinion these are my top 3 tandems. Not in any specific order. All three groups have similar numbers and having seen all three play i have my own opinions but would to see what others think.

RECAP OF ROUND NINE PICKS...dfal,bval,ebal,dval....freelance

The game of the week between Campolindo/Miramonte did not go well for the Mat's as the cougar defense was way too tough for Miramonte to handle and the Mat. offense could never get started...The big front three, plus rampaging linebackers had the Mat. QB scrambling and the offense was kept off balance....No one expected to see Miramonte go down 37-0 while Campolindo made a big statement...
