There once was a virus named COVID, not to be confused with Clovis.
Football you see, was the goal for me, but then it looked almost hopeless.
I write on the web, my fingers are dead, but still nobody listens.
Do this or that, don’t listen to cats, but why not listen to kittens ?
So what can I do to keep pace? Here’s a mask and a 6 foot of space.
Do what you can, help a man down, and try not to step on his face.
Soon the kickoff starts, the down is 1st and ten,
We grind out a few, know what to do, and do it, again and again.
We move the ball down field, got to keep up the pace,
With favor full thoughts, and not getting lost, and soon they’ll be less of a trace.
