Final game was a doozy. Redmond 69-64 over Marin Catholic in OT. Redmond's Diego Alvarez hit a three at the buzzer to force OT affter Matthew Grabarski drove into the lane, realized he needed to kick it out and got Alvarez open. Nicholas Schneider scored a game-high 27 for the Mustangs, who will face Campolindo next. Schneider banked in a three with 7.1 left to make it 55-54, and after freshman Lucas Rotem sank two free throws with 4.8 left, Alvarez tied it.
Much better performance from MC than last night, despite the outcome. And they did it without point guard Joe Hammond, who has a thumb injury and should miss about a week. Young backcourt of Rotem, Dominic Hammond and Oliver Myers is reason to get excited!
