Basketball community loses a champion

Nancy Lux-Polisso, former coach and mother to current Los Gatos coach Sami Polisso and Menlo College player Carly Polisso, passed away yesterday after a valiant fight against ALS. Our thoughts and prayers go out the Lux-Polisso family.

Wow.. so sad to hear. She was a fighter and great basketball mind who loved to watch her kids play/coach. She was even at LG playoff games last year. Thoughts and prayers are with the family in this sad time. Thanks for the heads up ski

My heart and prayers goes out to the Sami and her family. Loved Nancy's smile - She was always supporting her players and teams right to the end. A big loss.
