Similar to So-Cal four star QB Brevin White turning down a full ride to Alabama to go to Princeton. Is Torchio walking onto Wisconsin as a safety or QB?

His dad is a money man...that tuition has been in the bank.... compounding.
The kid can flat out play. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a contributor down the road and on a full ride.
Cal is a conundrum. The Gpa played for Pappy; Old Blues call that sacred.
But I get it. UCB turns away Natl. Merit Scholar triple legacies. And that’s why some call PSLs and increased OOS/international academic offers (=$20k + per year) a pillage and the travesty of the so called UC Flagship. Sour taste to many. Plus the salvo was fired In ‘10 when they told Baseball “self fund.” Stormy days ahead (well, presently if you’re into hoops) for the Lair of the Bear.
