Word on the street is Michael Lorente from American River College
Yeah I just don’t get it.. especially when all things consideredwow....if that is true that is a mind boggling decision by that administration.
Watched the Williams kid multiple times last year. Thought he would have been the most important player returning for Capital next season. Where does this leave Capital in terms of top teams in that section?
I hear they've lost the other Sophomore too. The bigger kid that looks like he could play Football.Watched the Williams kid multiple times last year. Great point. I can see others leaving. Why stay?I think that question depends on who else leaves because Darrion likely isn't the last.
Capital has kind of hung on the past few years as a top program in Sacramento/NorCal despite the turmoil, but this is a crossroads moment for them
Yup he’s gone too ..CJ McMillanI hear they've lost the other Sophomore too. The bigger kid that looks like he could play Football.
Wrong! Second high school. If true it will be Williams third school- Vista-Capital-Gorman. Look at the common denominator. The other big Soph has also bounced around schools. Private schools will have challenges in the current economic situation, plenty of parents considering if private school tuition is necessary.
Now Williams went to vista?? I’m pretty sure that’s inaccurate. Freshmen & Sophomore year were both spent at Capital. The late firing of McCall, the hiring of Filer as the face with Sondhi as the heir apparent then to go in a different direction including losing long term assistants is a bit much to ask any parent to endure and pay for. In my opinion

2018-19 / 25-3
2017-18 / 25-2
2016-17 / 24-4
2015-16 / 24-2
Are you kidding me, Capital Christian? What, can't higher another black man to run your program?
I don't personally know the man, but I know good coaches when I have seen them.
Coach Hope actually coached my son on the AAU circuit. He should have been the coach previously. Not sure why he wasn't chosen . I have only positive feedback to give about the Coach. I sure HOPE it works out for the student athletes and Coach Hope. I thought Capital would have been one of the best teams around with all that young talent!Coach Hope went...

Seems to be some drama at the highway 50 campus. Within 24 hour period a long tenured coach quits and their best player transfers to bishop gorman.
Coach Hope,Thank you @Renard Monroe and @Jumper3
I hope everyone does. I'm currently doing my research on CC newest coach, and the first report back wasn't good. 2022 and 2023 kids leave while you can.Who transferred?
