Did anyone see this story? Says the State doesn’t want training right now. Thought we would hear more about this. I can’t find anything about this except for this news station. It came out Thursday evening.

Most coaches love their players and subject themselves to hours upon hours of vastly underpaid work for the betterment of them. Why would they want to risk their health?

I keep wishing for a consistent message from the state. I know CIF is saying July 20 as the date for a decision on the fall season, but with some school/school districts conditioning it is definitely not consistent.

Without state playoffs, the CIF can move these decisions down to the section/county level.

Even if it comes down to the section/county level, will there be a consensus among all sections AND counties. With the exception of only a few sections (SF snd OAK for example) sections lie in multiple counties so for all to have a consensus is not going to happen.

Just want to check again and see if any school district out there is taking this report seriously. Was anyone who was conditioning last week not do it this week?
