Awesome thank youhttps://d2o2figo6ddd0g.cloudfront.net/9/n/wrvrm29tpg75gj/football_bylaws_2018.pdf See Section 5
Three ways to get points in CCS
1. Game Results
Win = 2 points; Tie =1 (shouldn't be any more ties - OT games create a winner and loser); and Loss=0
2. Schedule - regardless of game results
A team Opponent = 1 point B team Opponent 0.5 points C team Opponent 0 points. The breakdown of which leagues in CCS are A teams, B teams and C teams is in the link above. For out of section teams - teams with 7+ wins = A team (1 pt); Teams with 4-6 wins = B team (0.5 pts.) Teams with 3 or fewer wins = C team and 0 points.
3. League Champions played or league Championships won
If you win a league championship in an A league you get 2.5 points (1.25 if co-champion; 0.833 if tri-champion); 2 points for a B league (1 point for co-champs; 0.667 for tri-champs) and 1.5 points for winning a C league. If you play a league champion (in section or out of section in any league - no differentiation you get an extra 1 point (0.5 points for a co-champion and 0.33 for a tri-champion.
There is a formula in the by-laws for teams that play 9 games to put them on the same footing as teams that play a 10 game schedule.
I have a model that spits out the points for each team and will start posting projections as the season progresses.
