: Teams will be selected and seeded by the committee using the following criteria (un-weighted)
: - strength of schedule
: - overall record
: - freeman/max preps/cif ss top 16 rankings
: - strength at the end of season ( including roster additions/eligibility changes/ winning and losing streaks
: - head to head vs open division entries
: - overall record vs open division entries
: - victories vs quality opponents
: - quality loss
: - unexpected loss

The committee will look at each teams complete body of work, for the
entire season, to determine the best qualified entrants into the open
division bracket. It is for this reason that league finish is not
necessarily an overriding consideration for selection.
