Caruthers does the work. They play a good schedule, they travel and they're a perfect example of an area where competitive equity works.
With 697 students, they are D4, or maybe D5 by enrollment. (Remember each section has different enrollment categories. One year Mater Dei, with 2200 students, was D2 in the Southern Section. In a stunning surprise, they won the state title.) But they clearly belong in D2 and would have rolled over Marin Catholic and whoever in D4.
Anna Almeida has done a tremendous job there. We see her at our events every year, and they are tough, well-coached and back down from no one.
