Joining the Foothill conference is Berean Christian of Walnut Creek,This team sports a passing attack that was displayed at the Pittsburg passing contest where BC knocked off DLS,Pittsburg, Alhambra and Deer Valley...BC's QB Chandler Davis besides throwing a razer sharp pass can also run...He has a target in Isaiah Hodges with sure hands and this team poses a real threat to the Foothill conference.

The Bulldogs will be led by Daymyn Blalock who is not the tallest guy in town, but filled for Zach Elliott when he went down with an injury and keep the Bulldogs moving.....Last season, there were thirteen soph. that moved up to the varsity and stripped the JV of man power and these guys will make a big different in the 2016 season..AB Asefi,Nico Mariero,Daniel Boyd which will be the running driving force for Alhambra, ,Trent Greene,Mason Yaeger,Eddie Taylor,Tyler Clemons,Nick Haro,Aidan Lahinta,Brandan Hatcher, Jeremy Abraham, Tristan Ferrer and Zach Schuler...The return of Lenny Casto,Gabe Arditti and Jackson Norried, will be the anchors..
Things the bulldogs must do, is clean up the penalties before they happen, as it was the Alhambra costly errors that lost them games.....
Last season, Alhambra went 3-3 in league play and 7-5 for the season, they made the playoff's and knocked off deAnza and lost a 17-14 game to Bishop O'Dowd as two TD's were called back on foolish penalties...Alhambra opens the season at home against Acalanes on 8-26...
Mt. Diablo continues to have teething problems as they went 1-9 for the season, but against average defense's they were able to score, but still lost.
NorthGate 55-22, Hayward 44-25,Mt. Eden 38-16,College Park 49-34,DeAnza 47-36 and Ygnacio Valley 62-42 .The Red Devil defense needs work and you can bet that the coaches are working on this....Mt. Diablo is unpredictable so we will see when they open against Hercules on 8-26..

Ygancio Valley is another story who has a JV team that went 7-3 to beef up the varsity, the coach at YG was working on a series of scrimmages to give his team experience, they have a fair sized line ad some speed, so we will see how they do..
