League play starts up again today with two game series for Los Gatos-Palo Alto, Wilcox-Los Altos, Mountain View-Saratoga and Milpitas-Homestead.

League Standings:

Wilcox 7-1
Milpitas 5-3
Palo Alto 5-3
Los Altos 3-5
Saratoga 3-5
Homestead 2-6
Mountain View 0-8

Los Gatos defeated Palo Alto 6-3 in the first game of the series. I wonder where the defense is these days, only 3 of the 9 runs were earned. Lg goes to 18-1 on the season.

Wilcox kept pace with a 20-2 win over Los Altos.

Wilcox took two from Los Altos and LG took two from Paly this week. Going to be a great two game set between them next week.

Wilcox takes the 2nd game 4-3, so Wilcox and Los Gatos are still tied at the top of the standings with 1 week to go. Los Gatos has their 15 game win streak stopped.

Earl Hanson was at Paly as an AD and coach for 30+ years. The Veteran Paly Admin then chose Jason Fung as AD. Now Fung chooses to not want to be an AD anymore - but to return to the classroom. Now Paly and Gunn are both looking for AD's.

Time for some parity in the DeAnza League sports programs!
