When Don Shula passed away recently . I was reminded of an old story about him.
It was on a Vacation he took with his wife to visit some relatives in an out of the way little town in Maine.
They decided to check out a tiny little movie house in the town.
When they entered, they received a round of applause. Shula turned to his wife and preened : Look at that, they even know who I am up here.
A guy said: Mister, I don’t know who you are, but the Manager of the movie house said: if we don’t get at least 15 people in here, he wasn’t going to show the movie.
His wife reminded him of this for the next 20 years.
Here’s wishing you great football
