Dorian Hale commits to Sacramento State

De La Salle 2021 QB Dorian Hale has committed to Sacramento State. He will be a three year starter for the Spartans if there is a season this year.

Good fit for both sides. Hale comes from an elite program and has a skill set that has worked well in the Taylor system.

Congrats to him! If he improves his passing skills as a QB, he can be dangerous in Taylor's system.

I question his passing accuracy but in a system that’s not the veer he may develop into a good QB in the Big Sky Conference

I think he will be. His passing is better than it is given credit for but the offense will need to be tailored some to highlight his strengths.

His smallish size might dictate that he be used at a different position. However, considering that he thanked both Troy Taylor and Bobby Fresques, the QB coach, that tells me he was recruited to be groomed as a QB.

Agree with Larry on this one. I liked DLS game plan against SJB this year. If executed it would have kept them in the game til the end.
