He had just 7 at the half, after sitting out the entire 2nd quarter with 3 fouls. Somehow, Dublin never went at him in the 2nd half to draw that 4th foul. He proceeded to put up 32 points in the 2nd half and ended with 39. He put that whole team on his back and was hitting some long range treys. Meah was a much bigger factor in this game than at the MLK game vs DLS. He was a big reason SJM battled back from a 10 point deficit in the 2nd quarter to get within within 2 at the half when Green came back.
Beasley scored more than 25 I think and would have been the hero if they hadn't given up 94 points. No excuse not to go at Green in the 3rd quarter.
That was a hell of a 14 seed for Dublin to run into tonight. Way better than their record would indicate. While I'm sure that Dublin's defense (or lack thereof) played a huge role in it, SJM just looked way better tonight than they did vs DLS at MLK. Were they missing any players then, or did DLS just lock everybody down except Green that night?
