Folsom 28 DLS 27. FINAL!!!! STUNNER!!!!

In that case we probably know one another. I had to put my hoops passion on the back burner, one of them guys who had a baby boy in my 40’s. Hell I had to even quit golf. But I have decided to jump back on these days as I plan to get him to some games as well.

Obviously being a private school kid myself I am a private school homer. But I really wish the public’s who want to separate themselves especially in the basketball side would load up. For example I just looked at the SFL non league lineup, six teams, three private schools scheduled.

The SFL has Jesuit in the area. But dynamics have changed in the Bay Area due to financial economics. I would like to see the SJS teams in say a Riordan Crusader Classic that they have had going for many years. How about one in the Vontoure classic. How about one in the MLK day showcase that happens.

Then in a football scale sure Folsom and De La have played. But let’s see a Serra, St Francis, Bellarmine, O’Dowd, Salesian. Who ever. Now sorry if I this has happened, I am more blind to football than hoops but I followed the board for the years I was absent. Patsy just asked on one of the threads of Marin Catholic is available in week 4. If the SFL as he claimed is better than the WCAL, line it all up. I don’t follow the EBAL as much, but San Ramon played in the riordan tourney for quite a few years. Monte Vista has been tough as nails over the years as well.

In the end I am all north. I hope Folsom wins, and everyone else up north. I hope Serra try’s to represent as well as they can. What league is best we can argue for days on end. But fact is scheduling before league speaks volumes no matter the risk to the win loss column. I would like to see the SFL and WCAL interact a lot more in all sports. Especially on the hardwood since that is my passion. Take care, I will unfortunately be in Vegas this state title weekend. Hope to meet you soon. Thanks for the comments. It’s nice to engage with people who provide some context versus one liners
I think O'Dowd and Salesian aren't consistent enough in football to schedule the SFL regularly. Neither really has the enrollment, Salesian plays football in the lower classification. But basketball wise, yes, SFL should definitely schedule BOD and Salesian more frequently
