That blue turf is messing with your head.

Remember, there is a reason why DLS beat Folsom in 2012 and 2013, was selected to represent NorCal in the Open in 2014, and was universally ranked number 1 in the state in 2014 at the end of the season (not counting the G61 homer ranking, of course).

Folsom is a very good program. Nothing but respect. And Folsom was a very good team in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Good enough to be second best in NorCal. Quite an accomplishment. Again, nothing but respect.

And ... their turf is blue. Yes. Blue. Turf.

This year the two good teams from two good programs had a common opponent, one week apart.

I think you know which team, this year, against that common opponent, one week apart, had superior offensive numbers in running, passing, and total points. Blue turf does not make those numbers disappear.

Again, nothing but respect for the Folsom program and the players. That respect is earned.

A common opponent (which both beat) does not tell the entire story. Especially if you didn't see one or both of the games
