NCS Playoffs

The NCS brackets are out.

Granada the top seed in D1.
CN the top seed in D2.

CP Beat Heritage in 11 innings 4-3…. Tough ending for Heritage who blew multiple chances to win the game…. In the Bottom of 11 Heritage went HBP, Walk, HBP, HBP to walk in the winning run for CP….

In a Pretty big upset CVC beats Windsor 6-5….. CVC had 16 hits in the game….

CVC vs CP will meet in the second round, should be a good one, Teams split their season series 1-1….

Not sure why or which one, but I have a feeling one of the P-Town teams could pull the upset on Friday? Pure guess, I kinda like the Trojans.
Totally Agree!!…. Those both look like very dangerous games for DLS and Granada…. DLS’s second level pitching is suspect, but their offense can be rediculous!….

Granada has been on a great run, feels like they are ripe for an upset!…. Taking Casa to pull the upset there!…. 🤣

Alhambra didn’t pitch Cameron Millar (7-1, 0.11 ERA) and went with Keegan Murdock (1-4) against Livermore and lost 6-2 to end their season. Millar must be hurt?

Obviously the upset that jumps out is Rancho blasting Justin. Definitely surprised by that. No other major upsets.

The San Marin waxing of Novato was a surprise. Figured SM would win, but not like that. Earlier games were close.

Also St. Vincent now in D6 and out in first round. I know they were missing alot of key players from last year (transfers/kids not playing). But it was a very strong small school baseball school 1980’s-2010’s now definitely a football school.

Wow, I saw the score and was curious if Millar threw? The kid is a stud.

Must be hurt? You don't hold onto a ace who touches 95 in the playoffs unless he is hurt.

He went 6 innings last Thursday at Benicia, striking out 9 and allowing no earned runs. Can’t be facing an EBAL team that beat Granada and save your ace for round 2. I hope it’s nothing serious.

And Justin beat Rancho 11-3 earlier in the year. They were up 4-1 after 1 and then just fell apart, as Rancho jumped them for 6 in the 2nd.
