I honestly believe I may know this OC but I'm not too sure. There was a coach back in the day that use to be the OC for the Vallejo JV program by the name of Carlos. That dude would put up 40 pts on teams before halftime. I believe he went on to be the HC at Fairfield or Armijo a few years later. Boy he had that "Jail Break" screen down to a science. I'm pretty sure that was his signature play back then. Do anyone know if this is the same Carlos by chance?

Yes the spread with four and sometimes five wideouts. Haven't seen Freedom in person this year, but looking forward to Fridays game. Tough homecoming game for Wood.

Here's where the problem lies for Freedom. I don't believe they see the quality of speed Wood presents in this offense. If Freedom can slow Wood down to like under 40 points I believe they win. If Woods puts up 50+ points I'll be surprised if Freedom wins. If Freedom has a bend-don't-break defense in the Red Zone they should be fine. If Wood owns Freedom in the Red Zone it could be a long night for Freedom's defense. A lot of "if's" but that's why you play the game. Can't wait!

Freedom plays in a league with Pitt and Antioch, and they have their share of speed athletes as well. I'm not sure if this year's Freedom team is as good as it has been in the past, but I don't think they'll be surprised by Wood's team speed. I think Wood wins this one in a high scoring affair though.

Thank you. I wasn't sure what league Freedom was in. I agree with you that the speed shouldn't be too much of a difference.

I don't know whether Wood is the real deal or not, but I'm rooting for them! I might try to catch their game against Napa in a couple weeks, which could very well be a battle of unbeaten teams.

I want to say Wood is not just good but elite team this year, but that close game to BOD has me skeptical especially how BOD just lost to D4 SMB by two scores and only put up 14 points while they lit up Wood for 42. This game will be a real nice indicator if they are just good or actually an elite SJS team

They look solid so far. See how they fair vs Vacaville this year. Fun rival game.
