I’m at DLS tonight, where they face Clovis West

DLS is 1-0 after their impressive win over SoCal power Crespi at Dublin Saturday.

Clovis West comes in at 0-2, an uncommon occurrence, but both losses were two solid SoCal teams with a combined 8-1 record (I think).

This one should be a good battle!

Just the single varisty game, which kinda bugs me…. I would have liked to get a peek at DLS’s JV and Frosh. 18 minutes til game time…

Clovis W. appears to have a lack of size, with only one man at 6’ 4” and three at 6’ 2”. But they always play tough…. I don’t recognize their coach…. Something I missed?

8-3 DLS early, right after a Blair dunk on the fast breeak…

New coach, same old CW, with the run & jump…. DLS has broken it easily thus far.

Did I say “DLS by 17”? I mean that for one quarter. 25-8 after one q…. Only thing that hasn’t gone well is that Blair has 2 fouls.

A very quick look at the DLS book show Davit Pachulia with 8 (or maybe 9, couldn’t see for sure) and Alec Blair with 10. Didn’t get time to see the other side of the ledger…

Time out after a DLS score on the break, 46-33 Sparty. 5:30 left in the 3rd.

Blair gets his 3rd…. Stays in, at least for now…. 3:22 left, 54-33 DLS. And next time down, he nails a 3.

Now Blair out at the 2:36 mark…. Mostly subs in the now…. but these guys can play, too. 57-37 Sparty.

CW gets back within 16, Blair and crew back in.

59-44 end of the 3rd. CW has been able to “speed up” DLS on occasion. But not often enough…

Once again, sorry I’m not firing off nearly as much detail as I have in the past. JUst don’t have the energy, and enjoy the game more if I’m not going off at the fingers.
