So I read a book I really enjoyed ("The Queen of the Tearling," a YA fantasy novel) and in the acknowledgements was this: "To Jonas Honick, the world's greatest history teacher."
I don't know the man, but that's pretty cool -- and it reinforces my belief that coaching at the high school level certainly (and most likely at every level, to degree) is teaching.
The book came out in 2014, so it's old news, but still worth passing on, I think.
