LINCOLN TROJANS-----should be big improvement

Lincoln starts the 2016 season with a road trip to Antioch which is not a good way to start the season as they face the likes of Najee Harris and company..For the first game, the Trojan's have two and maybe three QB's to work with, but the two are AAron Thomas and Nick Englesby....Lincoln will have a all senior line of good size to protect the QB's and the running game should be hitting high gear..
To support the varsity, the Trojan JV team has little to add to the varsity as they went 3-7 as the JV team gave up some big points in several games such as the shoot out with Elk Grove which Elk Grove won 59-40.. Now the running game will have Taylor Dickson at 6-0 210 at full back who could be hard to stop, but we will see...In 2015, Lincoln went 6-5 and earned a trip to the playoff which they lost in the first round 62-27 to Cosumnes Oaks.
A look at the schedule and even in the Tri-City league, there are not many easy games and to start the season against Antioch and then finish the season against St. Mary's of Stockton is a real eye opener.

Much doubt the streak vs St. Mary's Stockton will come to an end this year. Maybe next year. Lincoln Stockton freshman team last year spanked St. Mary's Stockton pretty bad. St. Mary's Stockton freshman team not very good last year. So there is hope for Lincoln Stockton in the next year or two. Plus, new coaching staff will take time to adjust to for the Trojans. Just don't see it happening this year.

Nice schedule! Hop[e they do well! Pitman still running the Wing T? How will Downey fair this year? Chavez was up & coming( a decade ago?)...what happened How does West to be doing? Lodi & Tokay? Tracy always there...love to hear about the teams from the SJS South! What if Dos Palos and some other teams join the SJS South?

That Lincoln vs Antioch opener is a very intriguing game. Would like to see that one. If my boys team isn't playing I just might go out to Antioch. Unless Vacaville vs Pitt is playing the same night
