Los Gatos stays hot with a 5-2 win. Jake Holton and Aiden Finch each had two hits and Brooks Olesek threw a complete game with five strikeouts.

I'm happy about the result, that's for sure. But LG, at 15-1, with wins over SF and now VC, probably wouldn't have been mentioned had it not been a game with a WCAL team.

Maybe its because those are their two best opponents by far.

Yes, VC and SF are the two best teams that Los Gatos has played this year. That does not change the fact WCAL baseball is featured far more often in regards to CCS baseball. There is no denying that the WCAL is the best league in CCS. However, there are top tier programs in the public school leagues. Los Gatos is proving that they are one of the elite teams this year. They have beaten two of the WCAL's best teams this year. It would be nice to see more of the top public school teams such as San Benito, Wilcox, Los Gatos, and Pacific Grove featured more often.
