M-A blanks SHP

Saturday final in Atherton: M-A 30, (previously unbeaten) SHP 0. Bears control the PAL Bay Division.

With M-A's #1 QB back perhaps they are the "sleeper" of the CCS. I was leaning towards M-A in this one due to SHP only having played one quality opponent which was a 15-13 win over Burlingame, while M-A had 4 opponents all rated higher than Burlingame [2 were wins over Terra Nova & Mitty & 2 were losses to Valor Christian & Palma].
I was not expecting a 30-0 shut-out of SHP.

Physical mismatch all the way. If M-A can reduce its mistakes, penalties and other self-inflicted issues, they could be something else.They are a formidable unit, nearly 60 guys on the roster, 20 of them of polynesian descent. It's a poly all-star outfit now.

...oh, and the Bears' 6-8, 290-pound OL didn't even play today.
