The mustang's sport one of the best QB's in the area as Jake Haener is on hand for his senior season, this guy has the arm and can run and runs a smart offense....Jake is supported by a balance of Jr.s and Sr.s which includes a solid line.....What the Mustangs face is a league that eliminates many preseason games, thanks to the powers that be.....With the league Jamberee on 8-20 and a preseason game against Deer Valley the following week, there is no time to get prepared for a EBAL that is up this year, which means every game could be a battle

Note, Monte Vista visits DLS in the last game of the season, either the Spartans will be well tuned for this clash, but so will the Mustangs...So far, the Spartans have not been doing well in passing meets, but its summer and many of the kids are off on vacation or doing other things....the Pittsburg Jamberee which DLS always plays in will tell us what the 2016 season has in store and maybe, the Mustangs will be the spoiler this year....

Can't remember the last time a Nor Cal public school had 5 D1 football prospects from the same graduating class.

I've never put much stock in how well DLS does in passing leagues.

I first saw Jake at a Steve Clarkson workout years ago then saw him most rercently at the Oakland stop of Elite 11 the kid is the real deal ! Happy to hear of his signing with Wash. Now just stay healthy and have a great senior year.

Krommenhoek must be a good blocker and obviously has prototypical size to get a full ride to USC coming off a 5 reception junior year.
