I believe it’s at least 20 years since Granada got this far. They won it in ‘96, last time they hosted a game was ‘99.

Was that when the best player was the son of the head coach? I think he went on to play at Santa Clara? I can’t recall their names, but that was a good squad and the last time I remember them getting this far.

That was Chris Gomes, son of coach Greg. My oldest son’s freshman season was 2000-01. Last Tuesday was their first home playoff game and win since before that.
