Not a bad night for the NCS girls on Tuesday in D1 and D2.

7-0 for the NCS Squads.

D1:
(9)Piedmont smoked (8)OT
(3)Clet over (14)SF
(11)BOD over (6)AR
(7)CN over (10)SI

D2:
(5)Cal over (12)Los Gatos
(13)Redwood over (4)Lincoln
(6)Salesian over (11)Whitney

Lets see if the NCS momentum carries into the big dawgs in the Open tonight.

CKM @ Acalanes
PW @ SRV

The SRV vs Acalanes final on Saturday was such a shocker that I'm VERY interested to see what SRV can do against an excellent PW squad who gave Mitty a minor scare in the WCAL Open final (only losing by 8).

Did a WCAL team win? St. Francis battled hard against Carondelet, coming back from 16 down (or something) to cut it to three late.

O'Dowd at Carondelet Thursday, with the path to state a lot more open now that Folsom went down. And how did that happen?

The injury to Dixie McClanahan changed a lot for Folsom. Surprised they lost, but they didn't look great against McClatchy either

Usually don't see a 1 go down to a 16, but it was double OT.

Just watched the Riordan-O'Dowd game. Riordan never led and had one chance to take the late but turned it over.

O'Dowd is very good defensively and as usual, has plenty of athleticism. Jayla Stokes, their fast point guard, is former 49er JJ Stokes' daughter. But you knew that ...
