28-20 Riordan. Either Salesian quits playing Riordans game else this could get ugly. They are trying to beat them with athleticism, not gonna work. Would love to know how many blocks Riordan has. Every time Salesian drives to the hoop it’s highly contested. The one time they went to the rack on a set easy score.

Riordan definitely upped their intensity level tonight. Their length really bothered /altered quite a few Salesian shots in the first half. Salesian lucky to only be down by 8.

Salesian wins 49-44 in a terrific HS basketball game

Salesian held Riordan to 16 second half points

One of the best games I’ve seen in years. High level intensity. Both teams had guys flying all over. In the end, once again the depth of Salesian won out. I thought Riordans coach should’ve had three technical’s, but the refs were very generous with allowing him to be emotional. They really seem like they thought they were getting the shaft on a lot of calls and that’s not really the reality. As most games go, the refs missed some calls on both sides. What a huge three pointer that was by loving to put Salesian up by 3. This game was won in the third quarter. Salesian came out with a purpose and before you knew what it was like an avalanche, turnovers, layups dunks. The defense was smothering.
