If the seedings hold true in D1 that would be a pretty good Final 4 night....

The CIF Selection needs to be refined to reward teams better who won League Championships/NCS/CCS/Local Sectional Titles.

If one 16-seed wins...ok maybe thats a fluke....if two 16 seeds win...really? And my Hall almost went down to a 16 seed last night as well. That's not right....16 seeds shouldn't be taking down 1-seeds like we saw yesterday. Honestly when I look at the brackets right now...the seedings are worthless to me. Any team can beat any team essentially....which maybe a good thing, but once again not really rewarding the teams who did well during the reg season/postseason.

One Day Off...Then Tomorrow right back at it again!

Clear Lake will have traveled 14 hours over the past 2-3 days. Clear Lake to Kingsburg...Kingsburg to Clear Lake this morning...Wake Up Clear Lake to SF the next day! Clear Lake is more than capable of taking down Lincoln.

The whole competing equity program was set up to make each division competitive. Thus, if #16 seeds are beating or playing close games with the top seeds, than that supports the ideals of those who set up the system. They’re not going to look at those close games as a negative.

No rewards. Play who is in front of you. OR just go back to old rules. LET a coach or AD dictate what divisionyou want to play in before start of season.

Menlo lost yesterday...but imagine what would happen to the Bracket if they had advanced!

Everyone wash your hands!

The girls team is still in it and is scheduled to play BOD tomorrow night.

BREAKING: Campus at Menlo School is shut down rest of week due to staff member's exposure to Coronavirus. Girls basketball team is awaiting word from CIF on whether NorCal game Thursday at O'Dowd will be played as scheduled

Remember, for D-4, you are saying it is surprising that the #56 ranked team almost beat the #40 ranked team in NorCal. It’s still hard to appreciate the value of the tourney now, but may as well win if you play indeed.

Just watched 3 minutes of that video above and I can already see the difference when you insert Riny in there. Should have been done a long time ago, but at least now is the right time to figure it out and now Riordan is about to become the juggernaut we all thought they can be!

BTW Jelani looked incredible in that video...Alford got himself a huge steal

Good luck against Vanden tonight boys!

I say Clear Lake wins. Those kids are doing something that school has never done before.

Difference in the game? Vanden 6-12 on 3's while Riordan is 0-6 and somehow Vanden has 9 offensive rebounds

Bryce with 21 of Riordan's 34. Vanden up 41-34. Jelani with 1st 3 for Riordan cuts it to 41-37. Chan with 3rd foul for Riordan. Vanden makes 2 FT and leads by 6

Jelani has only taken 2 shots and has made both. Bryce having excellent offensive gane with 24. Vanden up 47-44 with 140 in 3rd

This game is just about over. Riiny Riiny with a 3 and it's 62-47. Vanden hurt by 2nd quarter injury to Teiano Hardee.

Long delay due to refs not knowing how to administer double technical fouls. There should have been a T on Riordan football coach for running on court to separate players.
