The final football game of the year is the fourth edition of DLS-Centennial. De La Salle is the favorite, but Centennial has always played them tough. Two different ways of having a high octane offense.

SoCal conditioned the ground to make it dry as possible. Looks like it hasn't been watered in a month.
That takes away the Dls blowout.
50/50 either way team to score 40 wins this one

I think most CC opponents score 40. This one is all Sparta until proven otherwise.

Hernandez runs over the right side behind two pulling lineman for a 7-0 lead with 912 left in Q1. Spartans picked up a fourth down on the drive on an option play to Custer.

JJ Taylor with a big kickoff return and two QB keeps ties the game up at seven. DLS had a missed tackle on the first one. No one was close on the TD run

That "white boy" can run for CC. Reminds me of a taller Taylor Martinez who played at Nebraska. But I bet he can throw better.

My prediction…. Nobody will be able to stop either team. I look for a 50+ pt game. Offensive and athletes are just far to good on both sides.

Taylor is real shifty. DLS struggling to keep him in front.

Ketteringham keeps it for Centennial's second TD. Each QB has had a rushing touchdown.

It's all about the counters for each defense right now

If somebody told me the QB runs a 4.4-4.5 I would believe them. Nobody on DLS can keep up with him.
And he's 6"4. Like I said I don't see anybody stopping either team.

DLS needs to grind out a more ugly game

DLS lines up for fourth down, but gets called for false start. It is their second procedure penalty of the first quarter. DLS punts for a touchback

Devin Asiasi with a great inside move to get the pressure and set up the sack. Next play on third and long, Javon McKinley takes a short pass the distance for more than 80 yards. Didn't disappoint on his first catch.

De La Salle needs touchdowns, but a long drive would do them a lot of good. Defense needs to catch a breather and get an idea what Centennial is doing out there.

Centennial leads 21-14 end Q1.
