They are young when it comes to their elite talent and defensively. They will lose 2 of their 3 top WR's, most of the O-line, one of the TE's along with Je'vari Anderson who would be a starting RB on many Spartan teams and is also their best cover corner. But Spartan fans have been talking about this junior class since the first time they played and Boss was called up to varsity in the middle of the season. Easily the best in awhile, although that group with Hutchings, Hooper, Egu, and Moffitt was pretty special.Originally posted by hofwhscos:
Talk about D1 talent. CC has at least 4 or 5 on offense alone. DLS is still relatively young. No wonder there is talk of going to Texas next year.
They've always struggled with mobile QB's, Servite and Byrnes called that play a few times and had success.Originally posted by Streak One:
DLS hasn't been close to stopping the QB keep play. You don't see a repeated mistake like that from the Spartans.
Very good point. I don't remember them getting gashed like this, but I could be wrong.Originally posted by renegades10:

If you were to take a look at most of their losses and close wins between 2006-present you would see a trend of dual threat QB's, Matt Scott and Taylor Martinez (CC), Brett Knief (Don Bosco 2008), Cody Jackson (Serra), McHugh (Bellarmine), Serra's smaller QB last season, the QB's from Lakeland and STA, even Rosen from SJB could run when needed. That's why I will continue to say as good as Browning is, he can't really hurt DLS with his legs.Originally posted by Streak One:
