Twenty-five-point halftime lead by Huskies. Good heavens. And to think this was supposed to be a "rebuilding" year for them. Simply overwhelming.

Final was a 38-point spread. UConn is either the best thing ever for women's college hoops or the worst. Can't decide. Need an adult bevvy to sort things out.

Where is Ms. Peckerwood when I need her (him) (unsure) (still in flux).

I'm convinced they are good for women's basketball. Like Tiger Woods at his peak was to golf, UCONN's dominance brings more eyeballs to the sport (What will they do next?) and they force those around them to get better and invest more in that sport.

Their attention to detail is as good as anyone in sports.

I'm convinced of the same thing also.. I think the nay-sayers who claim it is bad for the sport, aren't people who would watch anyway, with or without UCONN's dominance. The casual sports fan may skip over WBB during this run, thinking "oh UCONN is going to win so whats the point". But I think that once someone catches up to them, beats them, and/or makes a serious run at them, people will tune in. Even if it just in hopes that they go down, I hope people tune in.

their complete dominance of Oregon was a pleasure to watch. and I was rooting for Oregon.
