Why can St. Francis go?Who is everyone’s pick for Open: De La Salle or Serra?

Liberty Bakersfield winner of Central Section D1 against Central High lost to Clayton Valley early in the season 14-13. Looks like Spartan's are in the Open division championship after Lancer's loss.Either is a decent selection. But I think DLS will get the bid
I agree. Good case for both, but I lean toward DLSEither is a decent selection. But I think DLS will get the bid
DLS needed that exact scenario to happen. You’ve got to be kidding me! Bet you they sneak in.Well I agree they probably pick DLS, but Serra has the better resume. They avenged their only loss and DLS is sitting with 2 losses and doesn't have the ability to avenge any of them
Yup. They needed St Francis and Rocklin to lose.DLS needed that exact scenario to happen. You’ve got to be kidding me! Bet you they sneak in.
Tough to beat a good team twice and Serra was playing well at end of season. I blew it not picking Folsom. I thought Rocklin's offense would do something although thought it would be close and didn't lose too much on that. Another tough pickem week....and your Serra call for the Pic'ems wins you the coveted Nostrodamos SportsCup
Good call Coach
The Playoffs were like an OK Corral circle shootout with all participants knocked out and only the undertaker left standing.Well, that puts a real spin on the SBG games bid placements. More that likely, DLS goes to Open.
It is embarrassing especially considering that the 2nd,3rd and 4th best teams in the state are going to be sitting at homeSorry but this is a really embarrassing tweet. Pitt lost last weeks NCS playoff game. Now they “capture” a title in a do over the following week. Personally I’d be embarrassed to hang that penant!

Agree that Folsom winning SSJ D1 will be the clincher over Serra. Also DLS win over Clayton Valley Charter who defeated the Central Section D1 champ will be in the Lancer's side. Serra win over Lancer on their side but they also were dominated in earlier loss to the Lancers. Will be surprised if Spartan's don't face Socal's best.Id say DLS because Folsom just one the SJS D1 championship. Tomorrow if Monterey Trail wins the SJS D2 championship it will make for a stronger argument. Plus the Pitt win. That 3 section championships. If Central Catholic wins tomorrow, Serrs would have a win over the Bells who beat CC. I just don't see much other than they beat the team that beat DLS. Is that a strong enough argument. Idk
Just because Serra had the opportunity to avenge their only loss and DLS didn't doesn't make their resume better.. For the sake of full disclosure, Serra got boatraced by SF in the first game.41-19. Game never in doubt. SF scored with 15 seconds left to get by DLS. DLS loss to St Frances of MD totally irrelevant for CIF purposes.Well I agree they probably pick DLS, but Serra has the better resume. I personally think it goes to DLS, but feel both have good arguments to be the open rep. Besides we are basically discussing who gets the opportunity to get their clock cleaned by SoCal's bestId say DLS because Folsom just one the SJS D1 championship. Amazing difference in defense when compared to the regular season game.Rocklin was a great team with the lead. They could control the clock and wear you down. There offense always worried me somewhat and they weren’t able to get anything going tnite. Folsom finally utilized its 4 star players and it opened up the run.
This I agree with. This is why all nerdy SBG breakdowns the past few weeks were pointless and a waste of time. Let stuff play out and see where things stand at the end. No point breaking down things that haven’t happened.Just because Serra had the opportunity to avenge their only loss and DLS didn't doesn't make their resume better.. Like i said, I believe DLS gets it, but IMO Serra has a better resume. Its a bad look for DLS having 2 losses and one was a butt thrashing. Doesn't matter how bad Serra lost to SF because Serra of today was the better team, so we will agree to disagreeJust because Serra had the opportunity to avenge their only loss and DLS didn't doesn't make their resume better.. Why is is a bad look for DLS to have loses to 2 teams who are a combined 19-2 with a one loss to STA and the other Serra? Not sure I get that?Like i said, I believe DLS gets it, but IMO Serra has a better resume. Its a bad look for DLS having 2 losses and one was a butt thrashing. Unbelievable right!?What a couple of weeks for the Folsom Bulldogs! Go for two for the win against Jesuit! And then come back and beat undefeated Rocklin for the 6th section title in 8 years. This after Rocklin defeated Folsom earlier in the season. How sweet it is!
Serra to the open. They earned it. Period. Why is is a bad look for DLS to have losers to 2 teams who are a combined 19-2 with a one loss to STA and the other Serra? Not sure I get that?
Yeah one loss to a college all star team and it was 42-28. Not sure I get that either. Why is is a bad look for DLS to have loses to 2 teams who are a combined 19-2 with a one loss to STA and the other Serra? Not sure I get that?
Stop advocating for DLS to mask your prediction of a Rocklin SJS title victory. You need to be held accountable.Yeah one loss to a college all star team and it was 42-28. Not sure I get that either.

Serra to the OPENI knew it !!...........
That brain damaged crossing guard figured how to crawl out of a sinkhole and swim thru the tar Pool to resurface in the final TV episode of LaBrea before the lights in the sky closed up.
Champions win Championships.Serra to the OPEN
Folsom wins SJS in complete annihilation of Rocklin
What a cool year
So true.Champions win Championships.
Absolutely. Especially that coach that sorta loses it when the kids warm up on the "R"So true.
Go back and look at all the trolls when Rocklin beat a depleted Folsom team earlier. They were getting aggression out from a decade of beatings lol
The rub salt on the long term wound tonight, Rocklin is nearly SHUT OUT against the soft Folsom defense defense is upset in a game that will sting forever.
That has got to win the best vocab award of any post I ever saw.I knew it !!...........

Exactly, why can’t SF go? Pitt gets to play on.Why can St. Francis go?
Serra to OPENI’m going to say Serra to the open, De La Salle to Division 1A
