Replying to other people's post and use of <QUOTE></QUOTE>

Folks, when you press the Reply button on someone else's post, your reply is pre-populated with the post you are replying to. It is enclosed within <QUOTE></QUOTE>.

If you don't want their post in your reply, delete <QUOTE></QUOTE> and everything in between, or add your reply in the reply box at the end of the thread instead of using the reply button.

If you do want their post in your reply, add your comments after </QUOTE>. This will include their post in a quote, with your reply after the quote.

Do not
1) add your reply between <QUOTE> and </QUOTE>
2) remove the <QUOTE> or </QUOTE> unless you are removing both and everything in between.

If all of this seems confusing, just add your reply at the end of the thread and don't use the reply button.
