Riordan survives a flat cold-shooting night vs a scrappy and well-coached Lick-Wilmerding team. 76-72. The Tigers lose for the first time after going 8-0.
Up next, the Crusaders return to Pacific Heights and faces Stuart Hall tomorrow night.
SF Mikey, thanks for the correction. Crusaders probably thought all they had to do was show up since Johnson was out. They seemed to be a step slow and their shots were not hitting until late in the game. Most likely from a finals hangover. Will be interesting to see how they perform tomorrow night. Need to play better than tonight if they are to do well in next week's Acalanes Tournament. Not that it matters but final score was 67-62 Riordan. The Crusaders are lucky that Zach Johnson didn't play or it would have been a different outcome or they would have had to up their game considerably to beat Lick.
We'll see if the Crusaders like the Stuart Hall dungeon bandbox gym any better than University's....
