What’s the issue in Oak Park? They returned a good amount of talent from last year. That bizarre firing of Earl does not seem to be working out.

Too early to decide that yet. 18 games is not long when your considering a career. 2-3 seasons with a losing record then I could see it.

I have watched them play a few times this year. Extremely young, but athletic. Very undisciplined. The team seems to play as well as Miles Lewis plays.

Its the coaching. Earl had them playing well in Sumner and discipline . Now it just looks like street ball. Too bad. A lot of untapped talent on that team.

Lewis, Kelley and gwananji all seniors...Maze is a junior. All their key players are upperclassmen.

Agreed, but of the top 8 players, only 3 are seniors. Front court seems to be mostly sophomores.

Not a bad list but way way too much love for Whitney. They should not be rewarded for playing an awful schedule. Also have to take into consideration transfers and how good a team is now compared to their record. Franklin is much better team then their record indicates.

I really like Franklin, but are they better than Sheldon or Cap Christian? Maybe CC. I gave Whitney the nod with win over Carmel. 1 spot down is not bad. I have Franklin at 4 and Sac Bee has them at 8. Sac bee goes alot off record and not much on research. Plus they have too much love for SFL in bball.

The new hire was a mistake, the old coach got dogged out and Capital Christian got rid of the new coach for a reason

61-27 in 3 seasons, zero section appearances, 3 playoff appearances with only 2 playoff victories. Taking into consideration Sac High was in the worst league (metro) at the time (somewhat debatable). I think only time will tell.

Sac High was punished for going to the open Division with a great team and was sent to Division 1 for three years with a group of Freshman and Sophmores. The first year they were allowed to return to division 2 they went to the section semi finals and nor cal quarter finals. A fluke foul at the end of the game gave them a loss to the eventual state champion. Most of that team is back and struggling.

The SFL isn’t very good. Whitney is solid and plays hard. They will be in almost any game no matter who they play. Mainly all just gritty Hs kids but no real big wins and a bad 20 pt loss to Folsom.
Folsom is way down compared to what they have been last x years. Oak Ridge has best player in league and a couple supporting cast but no depth. I think they will play Folsom tough tnite though. Big home game.

Grant is a team in D2 that could make some noise.

Rocklin is the real deal, Don’t let some early season losses fool you...completely dominated Whitney tonight after dismantling Oak Ridge earlier in the week...their depth is coming around and have some really good senior leadership...completely different team then last year with same, if not better results

Rocklin has emerged in the sfl as the team! I liked them last year as well. Folsom looked very good last night against OR. Just ran them out of the gym. They don’t have the size that rocklin has which will hurt them down the stretch.

Whitney pre season was pretty soft and that might be coming back to haunt them.
