Saturday State Bowls Scores

Just would like to point out that Granada Hills HS has 4700 kids (in their school) vs San Marin who has 1100 in the 4A game.

A competitive equity beauty!

Just would like to reiterate a big school like that should have a "floor" on how low they are allowed to be placed/dropped.
Fun fact about Granada hills they only attempted 7 passes with 0 completions

Granada's 4,700 includes all the kids K through 12 (it's a charter school).

Gotta watch out for that 1st grader tight end, lol.

4700 in the high school (that’s grades 9-12) and total enrollment of around 6000 students between the 2 campuses potato!

Pitt catches a break on a long catch to Card, who then scores on a TD run on the next play.

Liberty leads 7-6 pending the PAT with 221 left Q1
Pitt misses PAT and then Liberty returns the kickoff for a score. Tough sequence for Pitt

Lincoln in control over Crenshaw

Crazy number the Trinity League has done on the LA Section. Crenshaw played De La Salle for the Open Division in 2009 and those who watched the game remember De’Anthony “The Black Mamba” Thomas running wild on the Spartans up until he got hurt.

Fast Forward and they are getting smoked by Lincoln of San Francisco in the Division 7 game…the bowl game that was literally created on sympathy for the SF Section.

Remember that game well, was there ran into Snoop Dogg & entourage as we entered stadium. But highlight of halftime was the guy dressed in bunny head and ears who mimed the Spartan Band as they played...... guy was funny. I would pay money to see him perform again.

Pittsburg is looking terrible. They’re really getting whipped by Liberty of Bakersfield. It’s 34-6. Liberty led 27-6 at halftime despite having possession of the ball only 9:46 the first half.

It has been in the decline for a couple decades now. Really not due to the TL, it’s been heading this way for a number of reasons. But agreed, it is terrible and become a sad state.

Bells just go up 14-7 over Laguna Hills early in 2nd. That Laguna Hills RB Tro Liegbor is a beast [6'0-200] & just scored his 41rst TD of the season to give Laguna Hills its first score.

Bells up now 20-7 in 2nd qtr after Bells QB Nate Escalada scored his 2nd TD to follow on his earlier TD a 41-yard run on 4th and short. Both QB's in this game are very good passers and Escalada an excellent runner as well. Both teams have a featured RB as well.

You mean to tell me they don’t have a paramedic unit on site at the state bowl games? Unbelievable!! This kid could have been in serious trouble
