Elk Grove won the JV game 30-7. From the looks of the varsity roster, Elk Grove has some juniors to watch too

Interesting end to half. Graves intercepted a long pass attempt by EG but Sheldon had the ball on its 15 with about a minute left. EG has three timeouts and elected to call just one after a third down run to force a final play punt.

Who gets the ball at the start of the second half? Seems as if Coach Heff wanted to go into halftime and regroup before making a crucial mistake in his own territory. I'm not mad at the call.
Elk Grove does so that would make sense. My thought was to give yourself a chance for a big play before the half. But there is a potential big downside to that
All play will be towards the sidelines to stop the clock.
