There are 2 games I see on here that kind of stand out to me.
First is the St Mary's-Lincoln score. I know this is a rivalry game and I'm sure Lincoln came to play and brought lots of energy to their home gym (cant remember the last time they have won this game and too lazy of me to look it up), but the close score shows me that St Mary's is beatable. I didnt see any of this game, so dont know if the final score was indicative of the entire game or not. But St Mary's has a few weeks to get Oliver going and get in sync before playoffs. Can someone tell me how many years in a row that St Marys has won the D1 Section playoffs (too lazy of me to look this up also)? But I am wondering if this is the year that streak is broken.
The second game I want to comment on is the Del Oro/Folsom game. Del Oro is 17-1 in non-league games. And after the loss to Folsom, they are 1-3 in league with losses to Whitney, Oak Ridge, and now a beat down by Folsom. I believe a couple of weeks ago, I think a Del Oro fan was saying they would beat Folsom and Oak Ridge easily? Cant remember exactly the comment. But can that person let us know what is happening to Del Oro? Can they rebound in the 2nd half of league to win a couple of these tough games?
