I think Div. 4 #1 seed, West Campus will be playing "under the radar" during the SJS section tournament, compared to the top Open division caliber teams and top Div. 1 teams in NorCal that everybody talks about, and that's the way they will like it. I look at the Div. 4 bracket teams in the SJS and it looks pretty easy. They should be 25-4 after the section tournament (Disclosure - No, I did not attend West Campus, have no family, relatives, or friends that go there or went there--I have only watched them play in a tournament WITHOUT the Johnson sisters).
Their four losses are to: McClatchy, Brookside Christian, Lincoln of Stockton, and St. Mary's of Stockton -- all against Division 1 schools in the playoffs. They are in an enviable lucky position to go deep into the NorCal tournament and possibly play against Cardinal Newman in the finals or semi-finals.

They definitely have the talent to easily win the section for weak D4 field. And if Cardinal Newman goes to Open, could easily win NorCal championship. Just as long as they play together and share the ball. Only 1 ball for all those scorers could be issue in close game.

The last couple of years D4 was strong in NORCAL. But this year with Salesian, SMB, Brookside and last year Bradshaw D4 is not the same. West Campus and CN should win with easy since all the competition is gone to higher divisions. Who knows how will be on the open this year.
