Good test for McClatchy against Bishop's

I think Sacramento, especially after the win over Etiwanda, is the team to beat in the city but I've heard from more than one person that they think McClatchy ends up as the top team in Sac.

Antelope won an ugly game today, but I'm happy with our focus during the end game. Always tough to play during the Holidays.

Great win for Sac High representing Sacramento...

Too bad Sacramento and McClatchy are no longer in the same league. Antelope is up there too.

How is it a good test? Ckm will beat bishops easily. Is it because ckm is from sac and bishops from so cal ? Think you and clay need to quit frowning on valley teams. I am a Bay Area Native still reside here but it’s more to it than antelope and sac hi.

It is a good test because Bishop's lost to Miramonte 62-60. I tend to think Miramonte is good. So by an extension, I think Bishop's is good.

Very valid point, however MM matches up better vs Bishops both small and guard heavy. Ckm a little different. Ckm by 15

Guess I was wrong ckm beat bishops by 23 I predicted ckm would win by 15. That wasn’t much of a test. You guys continue to give half a** credit to players/teams up north. Like you and clays bias rankings. I recommend this forum be changed to Bayarea preps perhaps? It sounds a little better! :D

Day 4 - Last day division championship games
Premier: Rosary vs. Mater Dei-Santa Ana
Wnba: Mater Dei-San Diego vs. Rolling Hills Prep
Silver: McClatchy vs. JSerra Catholic (beat Folsom by six points on day 2)
Blue: Oak Ridge vs. Peninsula
Black: California (San Ramon) vs. Dana Hiils

Good Norcal representation in each division. McClatchy and Folsom should have been placed in the Premier division, but being their first time in this tournament, I wonder if the organizers felt that they didn't belong up in that division.

Some Norcal Day 3 results:
McClatchy 74 , Bishop's 51
Oak Ridge 61, Olympian 49
Folsom 75, Mira Mesa 44
California 74, Carlsbad 39
Dana Hills 51, Lathrop 48

Day 4 game progress:
Bishop's 49, Folsom 41 final
Folsom 2-2 in tournament- could have lost three games-- beat WA state team by one point on day 1. I guess Folsom was in the correct division bracket.

Day 4 Norcal Results - Div. Championship Games:
McClatchy 58, J Serra Catholic 43
Peninsula (Rolling Hills) 51, Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) 49
California (San Ramon) 68, Dana Hills 48

Congrats to McClatchy and California for winning their respective division.

Other day 4 Norcal games:
Bishop's La Jolla 49, Folsom 41
Carlsbad 40, Lathrop 39
Great Oak 64, El Capitan (Merced) 40

Final box score revealed that McClatchy was up by 25 points to start the 4th quarter against J Serra Catholic. So the final score appears closer than what the game really indicated. McClatchy probably gradually took out their starting players early in the 4rd qtr.
