There seems to be a lot of attention to the CVC-Cardinal Newman game, but I think a lot of people are in for a big surprise....This has got to be the game of the week followed by big games between Piedmont and Moreau Catholic and questions as to how DV will do against Campolindo and will Pittsburg continue with there winning streak. And will SRV stop Logan this year??

I don't know for sure G61 but I'd guess it's because he lives in the NCS. Maybe a Sac Area guy should take the time to do the same. It would help us NCS and CCS area folks get a good perspective on your area.

One other thing...there is a lot of information floating around there that stays hidden, what few news papers there are have cut back so far that that games are just scanned over and a lot of the guys goes to the games, but never comment, so it leaves us with out information....I sure hate to see CN go into the CVC game without Brookshire, unless some one comes out of the wood work...This game won't be pretty....

Beathenpath2.....There was an up roar in the stands the way the Freedom game was called, and Amador Valley will be almost as tough as Foothill on both D and O, could go down to the wire, but this is high school football, so any thing can happen.....And with Brookshire out for CN, there is little chance that CN will be able develop an offense to come up with enough scores to stay in the game.
A lot of good football players have gone down to Concussions...But its the way of the game, these kids want to win and some times they try so hard that bad things happen....Are you going to the Alhambra game???

Hm, why was the Freedom game questionable? And yes I will be attending the game as usual, however if they manage to lose or make this one too close I may need to start attending different games as this Alhambra team has all the talent just seems not into the game..

From all the gripping, complaints and comments that I heard at the Freedom-foothill game by the Freedom fan's, it seems that the coach is not using the passing game like it should be used. Freedom has a large group of sure handed receivers that are sitting on the bench or favoring the running game.....The running game led by Ronnie Rivers is hard to stop, but it was Rivers that fumbled twice in the early going inside the 10 yard line which would have changed the way the game went...When Freedom began passing ln the second half, Freedom was on the move, but it was too late.

Correct. Bluedog has been making predictions and sharing information on these leagues for years, going back to the old Contra Costa Times forums with 001. He attends a lot of games in the East Bay and has a good handle on many teams in this area. It is no slight on the other areas.
