having been sent to the consolation bracket in the Iolani classic in their opening game for the second time (both times in a competitive loss to Hawaii's top ranked team), MM now gets the Real Consolation--a game against a team from Japan! surely a once-in-her-prep-career experience for each player, I'm almost certain it's a first in school history. Hawaii has a lot to offer even worldly California girls, but this tops it all. I'm hoping the game goes to triple overtime, and is decided at the buzzer. regardless of the outcome, I hope the girls remember this one.
