UC Santa Barbara got its first win with an 83-54 win over Cal State Fullerton.

For the Gauchos, Doris Jones (KIPP King) had 29 points, six rebounds, two steals and three blocks. Anya Choice (Cardinal Newman) had seven points, five rebounds and three assists.

In this loss, Carolyn Gill (St. Mary's Berkeley) had five points and four rebounds off the bench

Haley Van Dyke (Campolindo) had 16 points and eight rebounds in Washington's 84-61 loss to Utah

Tameiya Sadler (St. Pats) played 20 minutes and Nia Lowery (McClatchy) played 17 minutes.

Myah Pace (Bishop O'Dowd) had 7 points and 4 rebounds in 28 minutes. She has started in all four games she has played in and is averaging 8 points, 5 rebounds and more than two assists per game

I'lmari Thomas (SHC) has been named to the midseason Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Watch List. Here is what Her Hoop Stats said about her season:

27.6 PPG, 8.1 RPG, 3.4 APG, 1.0 SPG, 1.1 BPG

IImar’I Thomas has started off the 2020-21 season on fire, scoring 23 or more points and five or more rebounds in each of her first seven games of the season, including three 30-plus point games. Thanks to her volume and efficient scoring, Thomas’ 3.2 offensive win shares is the second-highest in the NCAA this season.

Portland State beat Sacramento State 66-64

Jada Lewis (Whitney) had seven points, seven rebounds and two steals. Jenna Kilty (Bishop O'Dowd) also had seven points. Both players started for the Vikings.

UC Riverside beat UC Irvine 63-45

Jada Holland (Bishop O'Dowd) had 11 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals for UC Riverside

Dani Guglielmo (Mitty) got the start and scored three points for UC Irivne. Tahlia Garza (Mitty) had two points and three rebounds in 11 minutes.
 
On Friday, Boise State beat Air Force 71-49.

Abigail Muse (Heritage) had eight rebounds and seven blocks in 28 minutes.,
 
Rice is 8-1 and has a local junior post in Arianna McCurry (Roseville). She has three points and two rebounds in nine minutes off the bench. It is career highs in all three categories
 
USC beat Colorado 56-52 on Monday.

For USC, Angel Jackson (Salesian) had 10 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks.

For Colorado, Peanut Tuitele (Pleasant Valley) had 15 points on 6-for-9 shooting with four rebounds.

Delaney Moore (Monte Vista Christian) had 11 points and 15 rebounds in 19 minutes for Idaho State,

Ashley Hiraki (Mitty) led Santa Clara with 20 minutes off the bench in a 84-65 win over Portland.

She had seven points, three rebounds and five assists.

Big day for Aptos' Natalia Ackerman. The Freshman at Cal Poly led the team with a career high 15 on 7-7 shooting, adding ten boards and three assists. But Poly lost to Irvine 79-70 in OT

Southern Utah beat Weber State 76-74

In a losing effort, Jadyn Matthews (Enterprise) finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Ashley Thoms (Campolindo) had six points in 22 minutes off the bench
 
Stanford beat USC 86-59

Haley Jones (Mitty) had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Hannah Jump (Pinewood) had eight points in 17 minutes off the bench.

Angel Jackson (Salesian) had 12 points and four steals in 31 minutes for USC
 
Oregon State beat Washington 98-68

In the loss, Haley Van Dyke (Campolindo) had 15 points, five rebounds and three steals. Tameiya Sadler (SPSV) had 12 points and three steals in 16 minutes

In the loss, Madeline Holland (Mitty) had 18 points, two rebounds and three assists

She has a team high 20 blocks on the season as a freshman.
 
Hannah Jump was Stanford's leading scorer today in another romp over Washington. 15 for Jump, with three boards and two steals. Haley Jones added 12. Haley Van Dyke had 9 pts 8 boards and 5 steals for the Huskies.

Lexie Givens (Alameda) 9 points on 3 threes. 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

This is good for givens. Saw her play in the playoffs but I considered her to be an undersized post player. Making the threes changes things.

Geting a few minutes off the bench for San Diego are Kylie Horstmeyer (Redwood), Nicole Blakes (Mitty) and Gabby Giuffre (Aptos).

For LMU, Ariel Johnson (St. Mary's-Stockton) had 23 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals
