If that were true then why even play? Of course the Open is the big prize but they all matter to the programs that play them. Now the way competite equity divides things is a different argument

I think the issue people may have with it is that everyone gets the state champion title regardless of division. When it is very different roads to get here.

Great finish here. After Sage Hill took the lead for the first time since the end of the first quarter, SJM came back with a layup. They lead 47-46 with 34 seconds left

Wow…. Sage Hill takes its first lead in forever, then SJM takes the lead right back, 47-46. 33.1 seconds left. Sage Hill with the ball, down one.

SH scores with some 20 seconds left, SJS tries to get close-in for one, but it’s missed…. SH rebound, foul by SJM…. Refs discuss, call it a flagrant. SG gets 2 shots and the ball…. sinks ‘emm both, etc, etc. etc. Sage Hill wins 51-47.

They were a very well balanced team and made big shots in the end. The Intentional foul was the right call and unfortunately was the nail in the coffin. Great game!
