Despite whatever they might be saying to the contrary, you know Folsom really wants no part of that matchup. At all.

And who can blame them? The likes of MD, SJB, IMG, and Bishop Gorman draw in out-of-area, top-shelf, front running talent at a level Folsom could only dream about. They’d be getting a taste of the talent disadvantage most their local area opponents try to overcome playing against them.

Historically they’ve yet to show a willingness to subject themselves to a potential running clock in the other direction against a program that also has no shame in running up the score in the final minutes with a 30+ point lead. Don’t expect that to change any time soon.

^^ I’m really hoping for a reverse jinx by stating the above, but in no way will I hold my breath.

take away the “cl” and you would be on to something there’s a reason that the instant he left new man no school is willing to put up with him for more than a year or two (and in some cases not even a few months) despite home being a very knowledgeable coach. only new man puts up with antics like his and people like the coach they have now.

if you think the article was bad the full story about what really happened is much worser. completely ridiculous that someone like that is allowed within 1000 yards of a school, let alone leading a high profile program. but hey it’s new man so what can you expect. same school that let Paul Cronin run amuck for years.

Garrison and the section is to blame. I actually feel bad for the kids. Many will call them soft or cowards. The reality is Davis has NO business being in the SFL for football. Garrison knows this and did nothing. Here’s another thing people may not realize. Programs and schools rely on football gate money and snack shack for funding. When Davis forfeits an away game that’s thousands of dollars schools rely on to fund other sports programs or football lost.

Teams of notice in the undefeated group of four are Las Lomas, DeLaSalle, California,San Ramon Valley...The Wolves walked over McClymonds 51-14 in last Friday night. The Warriors were not ready for what SRV brought to the game..But look what else happened,, DLS came from behind to stop St. Mary's 38-35and California dumped Antioch 47-18.
The North Bay league Red Wood Empire adobe has three teams at 4-0..Cardinal Newman, Windsor and San Marin, all three will see each other in the two next weeks. And Rodriguez at 5-0 visits Vacaville next Friday..The Bulldogs are big , but the Mustangs will have to use a fast moving offense as well as a defense to catch VV the same way did by Cardinal Newman. Other teams of 4-0 are Twelves Bridges,Red Bluff, Shasta of Redding, Sonoma Valley,Sacramento, Summerville, Lincoln, Wheatland Highland, Grant Bay, Winters,
El Cerrito, Salesian, Irvinton, Bradshaw Christian, Orestimba, Hughson and Sonora. I did not list all the 4-0 undefeated teams but I will be on the money next time.

Not sure what you mean here... In the link I provided, you can see DLS' JV and Frosh schedule with the tabs at the bottom. So I must not understand what you are posting.

I saw that DLS schedule page, and that has to be correct... I just don't understand why DLS's GoFan page has all three of their teams playing at Sac Charter the day before.

With remote work now pretty much the norm in high tech, Coach Ravipati, works remotely on campus. A nice situation since he is most always on campus and stays in touch with the students, coaches and administration.

Haven’t been to the event in quite a few years, however 8am games is very odd. It reminds me of being in Maui for 3 years straight and watching the 49ers at 7am at a great local bar that is now an empty space like much of Lahaina.

you have multiple legends at de la salle (this is the football thread so we’re talking about football here) and all every single one of them are/were on campus. if riordan was serious that would be there model.
